Whether you are commissioning a new work or purchasing one of our preexisting original compositions, you can be assured of your placement on the cutting edge of marching musical design. We will custom-fit the music for your band, highlighting its strengths and producing an overall package that will give you every opportunity for performance success. Visual-to-musical coordination will be maximized, as we will incorporate the various moods, motives, and flavors suggested by your concept; this is called "concept-first" design, and it results in ultimate clarity and effectiveness.

2. Newly Created Arrangements: Perhaps you have already chosen a piece of music that you'd like custom arranged for your ensemble; we'll add our unique flair and produce the best possible product for your students.

3. Previously Created Arrangements: We have a list of previously arranged music and full show packages which can be customized to fit your instrumental requirements. This list should be used as a guide only. With the exception of compositions in the public domain, the compositions listed are copyrighted by their respective copyright owners. Pursuant to United States copyright law, a license from the copyright holder is required prior to the creation of a custom arrangement for your group. We will assist you in acquiring the license from the copyright holder, which is not typically a difficult endeavor, but we cannot guarantee that the license will be granted. Percussion arrangements can make or break the musical effectiveness of your program. Fortunately, the wind and percussion designers at Marching Monk have worked together for over 13 years and are intimately familiar with each others' style of writing; we know what works. We know what needs to be written to fully complement all musical voices. Best of all: we communicate daily. The key word here is "coordination:" it is crucial that the front percussion ensemble, the batterie, and the wind design work hand-in-hand at all times to produce maximum impact and contribution with no lapses of continuity or effect.
